Water damage restoration

Water damage restoration: measured, dried and checked until your home is dry

Every water loss is different. What stays the same is the method: find all the water, dry it the right way, check it every day and write it down.

Tell us what happened

We handle the water problems homes actually have

  • Burst or leaking pipes, inside walls, ceilings and under floors.
  • Water in the basement, from a storm, a sump pump that stopped, or water coming through the foundation.
  • Appliance leaks from washing machines, dishwashers, water heaters and fridges.
  • Sewer and drain backups, which are handled as contaminated water from the start.
  • Leaks from the roof or a window that soaked a ceiling or a wall.

Clean water, dirty water and sewage are handled differently, and we tell you which you have

Water from a broken supply pipe starts out clean. Water from a washer, or a toilet overflow with no waste in it, is dirty and can make people sick. A toilet overflow with waste is sewage. Sewage and floodwater from outside are contaminated. Clean water can turn dirty the longer it sits, so we check what you have before we decide what can be dried and what has to come out.

With sewage or floodwater, soaked carpet, pad, drywall and insulation usually have to be removed, and anyone who is very young, older, ill or recovering from treatment should stay away until the area is cleaned.

Drying is measured, not guessed

We set drying targets at the start from the normal reading of the same materials in a dry part of your home. Then we check the same spots every day with the same meters and adjust the equipment where drying slows. The equipment leaves when the readings reach the targets, not when a set number of days is up.

Some things no restorer can promise, and here is what we do instead

  • A fixed drying time. It depends on the materials, how deep the water went and the weather. We tell you what the daily readings show.
  • That every material can be saved. Some can't. We explain why before anything is removed.
  • That mould will never grow. Drying quickly and thoroughly is the main way to prevent it, and that is what we do.
